Train a team
How to evaluate an avatar tutoring system
To evaluate an avatar proposal, start with what the person needs to learn and the system that supports the conversation.
Knowledge and limits
Define authorized sources, who reviews content and which queries must go to a person. A tutor needs a clear objective and scope so its usefulness can be evaluated.
Learning journey
Define what participants do before, during and after speaking with the avatar. Activities, content and tracking should serve the training program.
Integrations and operations
Agree on whether you need to identify users, connect a platform, consult documents or record progress. Each integration needs a purpose and an operational owner.
Validation
Review representative scenarios with the content owners. Include questions within and outside the scope, different participant profiles and the path to human assistance.
